We’re Exploring, Not Just Adopting
Like most companies today, we know AI isn’t optional. It’s essential.
Rather than jump in blindly, we’re taking a thoughtful approach. What does real value look like for our clients in this new AI-powered world? How can it help us deliver better results faster, smarter, and more creatively?
We’re not just asking the big questions, we’re rolling up our sleeves and testing ideas, trying tools, and teaming up with clients who are just as curious (and courageous) as we are. And along the way, we’re uncovering some surprising and genuinely exciting insights and outcomes.
Read on to see what we’ve learned so far and where we’re headed next.
Experiment Mode: On!
So, what exactly are we exploring with AI? A little bit of everything with a lot of curiosity.
We’ve started by bringing AI into our day-to-day operations to handle some of the behind-the-scenes admin work (you know, the stuff that eats up time but has to get done). From there, we’ve been experimenting with AI tools that support brainstorming and collaboration during the design and development process. It’s like having a supercharged teammate that helps spark ideas and organize thoughts faster.
Like all smart L&D players, we’re diving into AI-powered authoring tools to discover how they might help us move from tabula rasa to ideas to prototypes more quickly.
We’re even building and testing bots that can help assess a client’s AI readiness or suggest solutions based on information like HR data, LMS/LXP usage, and more.
At the core of all this? We’re looking for ways to be more efficient, generate solutions that get results sooner, speed up the tough stuff, and clear a smoother path from concept to solution, with less time and friction up front.
Insight: The Human Touch Still Reigns
No matter how smart the tech gets, humans still play a critical role!
We’re the ones who bring the context, the ethics, humanity, and vibrancy. We imbue solutions with cultural nuance, question assumptions, challenge bias, and make sure the outputs capture the essence of the real world in the client’s context. AI can move fast but it still needs coaching, direction, and discernment, and that’s where we come in.
At the end of the day, we’re still responsible for the work and accountable for the outcomes. We shape it, own it, and deliver it. This isn’t about outsourcing the thinking, it’s about accelerating the process while staying fully in the driver’s seat.
Insight: Boring Just Might be Best
Some things are boring but meaningful. But even the less glamorous bits are where the real magic happens. These behind-the-scenes moments are where we’re learning the most.
Sure, there’s a little fear that AI might take over the fun, creative parts of the job—but what we’re finding is that staying actively involved actually makes the work more meaningful. We still need to understand how it all works, not just for accuracy, but so we can confidently talk about it, guide it, and make it work for us and our clients.
Some of the most exciting insights have come from unexpected places. One bot helped us quickly untangle complex ecosystems—think people, processes, and tools—and make sense of them faster than ever before. Another gave us a head start in the sales cycle by generating creative, well-rounded options up front, so the design phase becomes more about refinement than reinvention.
These moments may not be flashy, but they’re packed with value. They’re helping us speed up the right things, spark better ideas earlier, and reduce the lag between learning and performance.
Fail, Learn, Win, Repeat: Our Roadmap in the Age of AI
We’re staying curious. We reflect, we tinker, we try things—some work, some don’t, and some turn into unexpected wins. Through it all, we keep moving forward. We’re in unprecedented times, where the technology is out there but we have to discover the best application for it.
We’re listening closely to what our clients need, what’s working, and what still feels like wishful thinking (a skill we’ve honed over our 25 years). And as the AI landscape keeps shifting, we’re keeping our feet on the ground while our heads, hearts, and hands stay open to what’s possible.
We’re not chasing every shiny object, but we are staying near the front of the train. We want to try it early, fail early, and win fast so we can bring our clients practical, meaningful solutions that truly help.
Are we all the way there yet? Definitely not. But, honestly, no one is. What we are is committed to learning, improving, and showing up as trusted partners who aren’t just talking about the future, but helping build it.
That’s the kind of value we want to bring to the table: real, human, and always evolving.
