Pricing And Processes
What are your rates?
Everything we do is custom – which means our pricing varies based on deliverable type, training seat time, and talent needs. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs to provide a custom quote that meets your goals.
Do you offer high-volume discounts?
Yes we do. Please reach out to us for more details.
What tools do you use?
We design and develop learning content using your preferred tools, making it easy for you to update as needed, or we can do it for you. Here are a few of the preferred tools in our experts’ toolbox.
Do we own the content at the end of a project?
Yes, it’s 100% yours. We design it and deliver the learning solutions in their entirety, including source files. No licensing, no extra costs. It’s yours from analysis to evaluation and beyond.
How do I get started working with you?
If this is your first time working with us, book a call to discuss your needs. For recurring clients, we typically set up a Master Service Agreement to establish an ongoing partnership. This can be initiated by your procurement or finance department, or our contract department can handle it and send it for your signature. For one-off projects, we draft a Statement of Work outlining the deliverables, timeline, and budget. You can provide your own contract or have our contract department prepare one for your approval. Not sure what you need? Reach out!
How do you guarantee quality?
Our comprehensive four-point quality assurance process for custom projects and most subscription plans includes professional editing, functional testing, brand alignment, and instructional consistency. Clients manage quality directly for staff augmentation while we handle thorough vetting and ongoing monitoring.
Custom Learning Solutions
How long does it take you to build a learning solution?
Every one of our projects is unique and we simply can’t give you a timeline until we understand your needs. Timelines are also subject to desired business outcomes. We’re happy to work with you to meet your needs for aggressive timelines.
Do we need to have and/or organize our existing content?
Nope. Our team is experienced with front-end analysis. We’ll assess existing content (if available, but not necessary), coordinate and conduct subject matter expert meetings, determine performance gaps and areas for improvement, and establish a sound solution design based on our findings. Leave it to us, we’ve got you covered.
Can you develop and deliver a learning and development program using our existing content?
Let’s chat about your current content to make sure it aligns perfectly with your goals. Sometimes, it makes sense to repurpose what you already have – but other times the shoe just doesn’t fit. Let’s find the best approach to make your content shine!
Do you provide subject matter experts?
No, we work with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) on your team. Our expertise is in extracting information from your SMEs to craft custom learning solutions that are both instructionally sound and effective.
What do we need to prepare before engaging a training vendor?
A great place to start is here. Afterwards, one of our sales team will walk you through everything you need so you can focus on the big picture.
Can I work on a project-by-project basis?
Yes, we offer project-by-project and staff augmentation services for businesses without the need for ongoing learning support. Our bundled packages allow for a customized blend of these services to suit your specific requirements.
Staff Augmentation
How fast can you get me a staff augmentation resource?
In most instances, if you have the desired role approved, a job description (including level of experience and rate), the location format (virtual or on-site), as well as have people in place to interview candidates, we can provide qualified candidates in as soon as 48 hours. If the placement is preferred to be on-site and specialized recruiting is required, our vetting process on average requires 21 days (from interview to offer, not inclusive of background check) to bring on a new innovator.
Can your staff augmentation resources work on-site?
Absolutely! Most of our clients prefer virtual placements – but we are happy to offer on-site learning experts as well.
Do your staff augmentation resources work on multiple projects simultaneously?
Generally, yes. Though if full-time placement is preferred, we are happy to accommodate.
Can you have staff augmentation resources and a project team working at the same time?
Yes, you can have both staff augmentation resources and a project team working concurrently. This dual approach is often essential for managing staffing gaps and handling high-demand periods during solution development. In some cases, larger projects may require additional resources, such as a program manager or lead instructional designer, which are not typically included in standard project pricing. We offer these resources as needed to support more complex initiatives. Each situation is unique—whether you’re running multiple projects or balancing ongoing maintenance with new developments, we can tailor our approach to meet your specific needs. Please reach out to us, and we’ll help you find the best strategy based on your timeline, budget, and internal capacity.
What is your staff vetting process?
We deploy a four-phase vetting process that creates superb benchmarks for resource quality:
- Phase 1 – Vetted: We carefully review each candidate’s application, pre-questionnaire, and resume submissions.
- Phase 2 – Validated: We conduct an initial character, competence, and culture interview to validate alignment with our core four.
- Phase 3 – Evaluated: We conduct a deeper skills and experience interview to learn more about the candidate’s expertise and work style.
- Phase 4 – Verified: We review the candidate portfolio for competence, followed by background checks, references, and security clearance (as needed) to verify accuracy.
Subscription Learning Model
Is there a minimum commitment for a subscription plan?
Our minimum commitment is three months and 100 hours per month to get started. Talk to our sales team to discuss specifics!
How are subscription hours tracked?
Your dedicated account manager and project manager will provide regular reports with hours, budget tracking, and project updates. The utilization of hours in your plan is managed according to your needs, and we aim to maximize them in good faith.
Can I transfer remaining subscription hours to another department?
In specific situations, you may be able to transfer unused hours to another department for their use. However, the availability of this option can depend on the details of your plan and the contractual agreements in place. To explore the feasibility of such a transfer, talk to our team.
What if I don’t use all my hours each month?
The short answer is that you can roll them forward. But there are restrictions and circumstances that affect those roll outs. Chat with our sales team and we’re happy to answer all your questions.
Can I put my subscription on pause?
We know timelines and projects can change. You can put your subscription on hold. However, please note that after the initial 3-month period, you will need to provide a 30-day written notice to request the pause. The pause duration should not exceed a total of 3 months.
Serious Games
How much do serious games cost?
The cost of serious games varies a lot – depending on many different factors including complexity, depth and breadth of the experience. But we do work with varying budgets to create incredible, creative results. If you want something unique, get in touch with our sales team.
Why would I use a serious game?
Serious games are great for learning and retention. They drive great results for human skills (soft skills), especially around complex topics such as conflict management, safety, and negotiation. If you’re looking to drive change, talk to our sales team.
How long does it take to develop?
Each serious game we design and develop has its own timeline. Serious games generally take longer to create than more traditional learning formats. However, we work with you to meet your specific needs.
Do serious games really work?
Yes they do! Especially for learning and retention, as well as boosting self-efficacy for your learners. They can also enhance your employer brand, improve the employee experience, and improve team cohesion.
Security and Regulations
Can you work behind a company firewall, hosted virtual desktop (HVD) or Virtual Private Network (VPN)?
Yes, we take client data and security seriously. We frequently use client-provided equipment and are comfortable working with HVD, VPN, and other security protocols. We’ll collaborate with your IT team to quickly and securely obtain the necessary equipment and access.
How secure is my data?
Data security is our top priority. We implement stringent security requirements and protocols, conduct annual audits, and use high-level physical, procedural, and technical measures to safeguard your data. We also comply with the strictest data protection laws. Many clients request security and compliance testing for our talent, which we gladly accommodate at the standard hourly rate. At ttc, we uphold the highest security standards to protect your data.
Other Inquiries
Do you have a referral program?
Yes! Refer a friend and they get 10% off their first service with us – and YOU get 10% off your next service with us. Contact us for more details.
What diversity certifications does your company hold?
We’re proud to be certified as a women-owned business (WBENC and WOSB) and by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Partnering with us empowers you to achieve diversity goals and drive impactful outcomes from a diverse perspective.
How are you incorporating AI into your development?
Many of our tools now incorporate AI to streamline build times – but since we create custom content, we do not use public AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot due to the proprietary nature of the information we handle. Some of our clients are developing their own AI tools within secure environments, such as private versions of ChatGPT or Copilot. We’re happy to use these tools when they are available and operate behind the client’s firewall.
