Cheriann, meet Innovator!
Sit down with us for our latest team meet & greet as you get to know more about one of our account managers, Cheriann Cain, and why this momma won our hearts years ago! This year, I’ve had the pleasure of working side by side with her warm smile. Cheriann’s attention to detail and her unwavering sense of integrity inspire me to no end. Keep reading to find out what fuels her daily innovation and what she likes to do in her free time!
Tell us about your background & how you transitioned into account management.
I have been in the learning industry for the past 19 years. I worked as a learning manager for a large financial institution for the first eight years, and the last 11 I have been working as a contractor, doing project management work. The relationships I have developed with my clients while working on projects made account management a natural fit.
Do you have any nicknames your friends or family call you?
No, my grandmother would be disappointed if my name was shortened into a nickname, as she is the “Ann” I was named for.
What’s your professional superpower?
Definitely multitasking. It is amazing how many different things I can do at the same time!
What are you most known for by your family and friends?
My volunteerism. I love volunteering for my daughter’s school, Girl Scouts, and my favorite charity, the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville.

What’s most important to you when working with our clients?
That they think of us as an extension of their team. When we work for a client’s learning team, we represent them to the business partners they support. The greatest compliment we can get is when the business partners are surprised that we are a vendor.
What’s your favorite quote and why?
My favorite quote changes quite often. My current fave is, “Partnership is not the crutch of the imperfect, but the secret of the successful.” ― Marcus Buckingham

Coffee or tea (and how do you take it?)
Tea, iced, unsweetened, by the gallon!
What do you like to do in your free time?
Mommy/daughter stuff — reading together, getting pedicures, and just laughing! Living only two hours away from Walt Disney World has its advantages, too.
Which ttc core value (innovation, quality, integrity, responsiveness) resonates most with you and why?
Most definitely integrity! Working with true integrity is what builds solid lasting partnerships.
Integrity is one of the reasons I admire Cheriann the most! Get to know her better and say ‘hello’ on LinkedIn!
